Marvel Legends: Children of Thanos box set revealed

Marvel Legends continues a year of major reveals with a Children of Thanos 5-pack.

When it comes to Marvel Legends, Hasbro appears to have no intention of stopping the surprise reveals. Yesterday we were hit with the unexpected arrival of an Amazon exclusive Children of Thanos box set.

The five-pack includes MCU versions of Thanos, Proxima Midnight, Ebony Maw, Corvus Glaive, and Cull Obsidian–all figures we’ve gotten before, but with some significant additions/upgrades.

First off, those of you who read my columns regularly (HI MOM!) know I don’t care very much about packaging. That being said, the artwork on the back of this one is absolutely gorgeous.

As far as the actual figures are concerned:

Thanos

  • Alternate heads.
  • Post snap/charred arm and Infinity Gauntlet.
  • Alternate snapping Infinity Gauntlet hand/arm.

Obsidian Cull

  • Single release rather than a Build-A-Figure.
  • New (and much better) weapon.
  • Significantly more screen accurate appearance than the 2018 BAF.

Corvus Glaive

  • Not in a 2-pack with Loki this time, but looks pretty much the same as the 2019 release (at least to me).
