Kickstarter Alert: Sweet Paprika statue

The Sweet Paprika statue will stand 7 inches tall.

We’ve reported on it and even talked to artist Mirka Andolfo about it, and now Sweet Paprika is getting a statue. Well, that is if you back it on Kickstarter. The 7-inch statue is based on the upcoming comic series from Image Comics out in July as well as the in-production animated series.

But wait, what is Sweet Paprika about?

Listen to the latest episode of our weekly comics podcast!

Paprika, a young woman of Italian origins living in New York, is a workaholic: success has sucked up her life, making her forget the importance of time for herself and for her loved ones. To bring havoc in her life will be Dill, a naive and handsome boy with an “angelic” otherworldly attitude, who will push the young woman to question herself and help her regain confidence in herself and in men. Their totally opposite characters and lifestyles will give life to fun and irresistible stories, seasoned with a pinch of eroticism.

The Sweet Paprika statue is 3D sculpted by artist Andrew Hickinbottom and produced by Infinite Statue. The Kickstarter also comes with rewards like an exclusive emoji set, a digital and print Sweet Paprika art book, as well as pins, prints, and totes.
