Earlier today, Hasbro revealed a brand new figure of Jennifer Walters (aka She-Hulk) for their Marvel Legends line.
The figure is a great mix of the ones that previously gave us her standard and gray/savage forms (and cost a ridiculous amount of money on the aftermarket). She also comes with alternate hands and two heads, both of which have significantly better portraits than the She-Hulk figure that came with the 2017 A-Force box set.
Unfortunately, MarvelousNews.com is reporting that the figure’s $22.99 retail price will be the new baseline standard for Marvel Legends. I guess we should have seen this coming when it started happening to the Star Wars Black Series line, but it’s still not good news (especially on the same day I found out I have to get a root canal).
So is this great looking figure worth the extra $3? I’m not sure. I’ve already publicly humiliated myself to purchase a She-Hulk toy once before. Spending few extra bucks doesn’t seem nearly as bad by comparison.
The figure is currently available for preorder at your preferred online toy retailer with an expected arrival in the Spring. While you (and I) decide whether or not to pick this one up, check out the gallery below.
