Don Cheadle to appear as War Machine in ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’

Another of the MCU’s biggest stars will appear in Disney+’s slate of upcoming series.

In an exclusive interview this week with Bro Bible, Don Cheadle revealed that he will be appearing in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier as James Rhodes, aka War Machine.

War Machine

I’m not sure Disney wanted his presence on the show to be revealed, but it has me even more excited for the March 19 series premiere. In addition to Rhodes being a great character, Cheadle is an incredible actor who elevates any project that he’s a part of. I’ve honestly never been a big fan of War Machine in the comics, but his film counterpart is one of my favorite characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Cheadle also stated that writing for his upcoming Armor Wars series will begin next month. Much like WandaVision and other upcoming MCU shows, this one will heavily tie into the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame–including the fallout from Tony Stark’s death.
