Writer/producer Jami O’Brien signs new deal with HBO

The former ‘NOS4A2’ showrunner will be working on existing programs and creating new content for the premium cable network.

Earlier this week, Denise Petski of Deadline exclusively reported that writer producer Jami O’Brien has signed a two year overall deal with HBO.

O’Brien was already working with HBO on the recently announced reboot of True Blood, but she will now potentially be creating more new content for the network. Petski’s report also states that O’Brien has been tapped to executive produce the second season of Industry and serve as a consulting producer on the return of In Treatment.

The AIPT crew are big fans of Jami O’Brien due to her phenomenal work on AMC’s adaptation of NOS4A2 (and that she’s a lot of fun to interview). It should be all types of fun getting to see what she creates for HBO over the next few years.
