Snyder joins us to dig into his new creator-owned series Nocterra which he’s launching at Image Comics on March 3rd with co-creator Tony S. Daniel. Having read the book early we discuss what goes into the great worldbuilding, the science behind name picking, and how the series went from hit Kickstarter to much-anticipated series.

Before the interview, dig into the biggest news of the week, which all starts with DC Comics launching their Linearverse! We discuss this new universe idea, then dive into the Batman: The Dark Knight Returns board game that’s coming December 2021. Also in DC Comics news, DC Comics and Epic Games are publishing a Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point series in April.

In Marvel Comics news, a new Black Cat story kicks off the ‘Infinite Destinies’ event this summer, C.B. Cebulski announces Deadpool: Black, White & Blood for 2021, and Marvel offered up a first look of Heroes Reborn #1. What does it mean!?

In indie comics news, Z2 Comics is producing a Blondie comic with Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti, and John McCrea, Dark Horse announced The House of Lost Horizons from Mignola and Roberson, and  Vault Comics is launching The Blue Flame from Chris Cantwell and Adam Gorham. Humanoids have a Count of Monte Cristo sci-fi upgrade thanks to Ibrahim Moustafa and finally Image Comics is ending Robert Kirkman series Oblivion Song with issue 36.
