Nier Reincarnation releases on July 28th

Nier Reincarnation will be available worldwide for iOS and Android.

Nier Reincarnation, Applibot’s mobile RPG, is releasing July 28th, IGN reports. It’ll be available worldwide for iOS and Android after previously releasing in Japan in February. Reincarnation will be a free-to-play game with microtransactions. Rewards will be available for players who pre-register for the game, and once 600,000 are pre-registered, “all players will receive enough gems to complete 15 Summons for free, in addition to valuable materials needed to enhance characters.”

Gameplay will revolve around exploration of a realm called The Cage, both via 3D and side-scrolling gameplay, and battles with enemies. Players will take control of the Girl in While as she, along with her ghostly companion Mama, discovers all The Cage has to offer.

It’ll be the third game in the Nier series after 2010’s Nier and its sequel Nier: Automata, released in 2017. Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139…, a remake of the original game, released in April for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
