Hasbro PulseCon: Exclusive Marvel Legends Venom figure revealed

Marvel Legends’ Retro Collection unveils a new Venom figure featuring deco inspired by the ’90s animated series.

On Thursday, Hasbro revealed a new exclusive Marvel Legends figure for this fall’s upcoming PulseCon 2021. This time it will be a Retro Collection release of Venom featuring deco inspired by his look from the Spider-Man: The Animated Series.

Marvel Legends Venom

At first glance, this appears to simply be a standard, comic-accurate Venom figure. Upon closer inspection, however, you’ll notice some red and blue shading splashed across the beloved black symbiote suite.

It may look a bit weird in person, but it’s actually a very accurate representation of the character’s animated appearance back in the 1990s.

In addition to the nostalgic retro packaging (enhanced with a really cool back cover), the figure comes with an alternate untongued head and alternate fisted hands. It also has two giant holes in its shoulders, which one would assume are for some type of tendril attachment. Hopefully those are added (or the holes are removed) before the figure is officially released.

No information on pricing or specific availability dates have been provided, but that will likely be revealed later this summer with the dates for PulseCon 2021 are announced.
