Last summer at DC FanDome, the Titans panel teased what takes place in the third season of the superhero series. The team would visit Gotham and face friend turned foe, Jason Todd, now assuming the role of Red Hood.
As time went on, we received even more tidbits of the upcoming season to build up the anticipation including Starfire’s new super suit and who would be playing Barbara Gordon. Well, the wait for new episodes is almost over with HBO Max, Titans’ new home, releasing the official trailer.
From the trailer, a death in the Bat Family causes Bruce Wayne to hang up his tights and pass on the mantle to Dick Grayson. We also catch glimpses of Scarecrow, who serves as a special consultant to Gotham PD, and Blackfire, Starfire’s sister.
The first three episodes Titans season three will drop Thursday, August 12, on HBO Max. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly every Thursday until the finale on October 21.
