Marvel Comics has released a new teaser for Captain Marvel #32 which will release in September. The teaser reads, ” An old darkness rises, and with it…the Marvels of the past return.” The teaser is hyping a new story arc called “The Last of the Marvels,” which will be written by Kelly Thompson with art by Sergio Dávila.
What could it mean? It’s possible Captain Marvel #30–out in comic book shops this week–may have some answers.

Marvel has revealed more information is coming soon. Dávila is currently drawing Black Knight: Curse of the Ebony Blade with Si Spurrier writing.
The teaser came with text which reads:
THE MARVELS OF THE PAST RETURN IN CAPTAIN MARVEL #32!
