Disney+ planning Agatha Harkness ‘WandaVision’ spinoff series

Disney+ may be getting a ‘WandaVision’ spinoff soon.

Variety had the exclusive this week that Kathryn Hahn will be reprising her role as Agatha Harkness in a new spinoff series starring everyone’s second-favorite MCU witch. Not much is known about the show beyond it being a dark comedy, though one has to assume Agatha may be waking up from the spell Scarlet Witch put her under at the end of WandaVision. The WandaVision head writer Jac Schaeffer would serve as the writer and executive producer on the new show.

Even if you didn’t watch WandaVision–which we highly recommend checking out–you probably heard Agatha’s catchy TV show jingle “Agatha All Along.” It blew up and made waves throughout the comics and nerd communities.

You can listen and watch the song below.

Disney is smart to keep the WandaVision train running with a new spinoff especially after it won three Emmys this year.

In WandaVision, Hahn played Scarlet Witch’s neighbor Agnes who is eventually revealed to be a witch. In fact, she’s quite old and was a witch way back during the Salem Witch Trials. It’ll be interesting to see if Agatha makes a return to Marvel Comics due to this news and recent success with Hahn playing her. She was last seen in the comics in Captain America Vol 9 #22.

Whatever happens, we know Agnes is going to be really pissed off when she finds out what Wanda did to her.
