For the second day of Hasbro’s Pulse Con 2021, the Marvel Legends livestream featured a very X-Men heavy panel. We’ll take a look at what will be coming next year from the beloved toyline, which may or may not cause X-Men editor Chris Hassan to squeal with joy.
It should be noted that this panel was a bit of a dud compared to the others, but Marvel Legends has done a ton more reveals throughout the year any of Hasbro’s other teams/departments. That said, there was still some really good stuff shown. For this recap, we’ll be focusing on items that had not been revealed until today.
Also, if you’re a fan of the 90’s X-Men animated show, then there’s an interview with series writers Julia and Eric Lewald that’s definitely worth checking out. We’re going to stick with that department for the first item up for discussion.
Animated Series Wolverine
In addition to being a great looking figure, Wolverine comes with improved/sturdier claws, alternate head/hands, and a picture frame allowing you to recreate the Wolverine Crush meme. What’s even better is that the frame opens, allowing you to replace the photo of Scott and Jean with one of you or David Brooke.
Also, I’m not usually a big fan of packaging, but that VHS-style box checks all the right nostalgia boxes.
The figure will retail for $26.99 and is available now for preorder exclusively from Hasbro Pulse and Shop Disney. It is expected to arrive in May of 2022.
Animated Series Jubilee
Even though we only got to see digital renders of the figure, it looks like the Marvel Legends team is going to absolutely nail this one.
Like Wolverine, Jubilee will retail for $26.99 and is available now for preorder exclusively from Hasbro Pulse and Shop Disney. It is expected to arrive in May of 2022.
Series 1 Iron Man(20th Anniversary)
I really like the 20th Anniversary Captain America, but this one’s not doing it for me–even with the cool effects and Stark’s glorious head of hair.
If you like it, however, then the figure is available now for preorder from your preferred online retailers. It retails for $31.99 (!) and is expected to arrive in May 2022.
Captain America 2-pack (MCU)
Even with those wonderful head sculpt/portraits, this one is a hard pass for me without wings for Sam. That being said, the retail price ($41.99) is a heck of a lot better than the $31.99 they’re charging for the 20th anniversary figures.

Winter Soldier (MCU)
It’s nice to see Marvel Legends produce a Winter Soldier/Bucky figure with a bunch of weapon accessories (unlike the last release).

Retro Collection Scarlet Witch
I’ve never been a big West Coast Avengers fan, but I know some folks who will be absolutely thrilled to have this version of Scarlet Witch.

Retro Collection White Vision
Another member of the West Coast Avengers enters the retro collection line, albeit with less accessories/paint apps the previous figure and the same $22.99 retail price.

Classic Baron Zemo
No preorder/release information on this one yet, but it will be a Walgreen’s exclusive. This will be part of an overall villains wave for the store.
Pre Production Reveals and Teases
- In case you didn’t get enough of him permeating every aspect of the Marvel Universe last year, Knull will be getting his own Marvel Legends in the near future.
- A Vulcan figure will coming as part of a future X-Men wave. It will also feature pinless articulation and replace Bucky Cap as the standard Marvel Legends base mold.
- D’Spayre will be part of an upcoming Doctor Strange wave. Like many of you, I’d never heard of this villain, either. He does look pretty cool, though.
- The final tease was for an accessory that will likely go with a figure of X-Men character Maggot…or Warlock really needs to increase his fiber intake.
