Marvel Comics has released a new teaser X-Men fans won’t want to miss that appears to be tied to the mutant known as Destiny. Given her importance in Jonathan Hickman’s final X-Men series Inferno, this could be a big hint at where the story is going from here.
Marvel released a visual along with the tease to “Stay tuned in the coming weeks for news about mutantkind’s next era…” It’s unclear if the teaser is hinting at a new series called Destiny of X, or if this is similar to the Reign of X announcement revealing the next era of X-Men being called Destiny of X.
The teaser is quite simple with a mostly black graphic with a quote from Irene Adler aka Destiny that reads, “There is no ‘the’ future. There is no Destiny.”
