We’re back with your AIPT Comics podcast dose of comics news, reviews, and interviews too. This week, comics writer Curt Pires joins the show to discuss Memoria, out this week from ComiXology. This is an extended interview from earlier this week which you can read here. We dig into crime fiction, inspiration for his series, writing about serial killers, and how incredibly personal this series and its characters are to Pires.

In news, we start by talking about the very sad news that George Pérez’s health has turned for the worse. In other news, Marvel unveiled Destiny of X details for the new X-Men era, info about the Jim Rugg Hulk GRAND DESIGN series, a Captain Carter #1 coming to Marvel Comics in March 2022, and Marvel and TASCHEN are teaming up!

Also in news, Tom Taylor announced an exclusive contract with DC Comics, DC Comics unveiled the “Shadow War” Batman crossover event, and Kickstarter is switching to crypto platform alarms creators.
