Tom King and Mitch Gerads reteam for ‘Batman: One Bad Day’ OGN

Batman must race to figure out the motivation behind The Riddler’s killing spree!

Announced via the Batman Twitter today, Batman: One Bad Day is a new original graphic novel from the dynamic duo Tom King and Mitch Gerads. You know them from their work on The Sheriff of Babylon, Mister Miracle, and Strange Adventures and now their focus is exclusively on a done-in-one Batman tale. That tale features Riddler as the main antagonist as he goes on a killing spree.

That’s not all, though, as DC Comics will also be hosting One Bad Day OGN’s for Penguin, Mr. Freeze, and Two-Face from acclaimed creators in September, October, and November (with more likely on the way).

As Gerads put it on in a Tweet, Riddler is terrifying. He added, “My genuine long-time dream book, and
@TomKingTK delivered the absolute perfect script for it. I’ve never been this excited to get a book into your mitts! I’ve been putting everything I have into every page.”

So what’s Batman: One Bad Day about?

Edward Nygma is meticulous… until one day he suddenly starts killing at random. Batman must race to figure out the motivation behind The Riddler’s spree!

Expect to find Batman: One Bad Day in comic shops this August.

Check out a few images Gerads shared on his Twitter below.
