‘Superboy: The Man of Tomorrow’ wins DC Round Robin 2022

Kenny Porter and Jahnoy Lindsay’s ‘Superboy’ series has won the DC Round Robin 2022 tournament.

DC Comics revealed over their Twitter that Kenny Porter and Jahnoy Lindsay’s Superboy: The Man of Tomorrow has won the DC Round Robin 2022 tournament. Superboy beat some tough competition in just the final four which included Constantine & The Demon (by Frank Allen with art by Nik Virella), Suicide Squad: Dark (by Zac Thompson with art by Garry Brown), and Green Lantern: Light at the End of Forever (by Si Spurrier with art by Marco Santucci). In the final round, it ended up beating Suicide Squad: Dark.

You can see all 16 titles competing in this year’s DC Round Robin here.

Last year’s winner was Robins by Tim Seeley (GraysonSuicide Squad: King Shark) and Baldemar Rivas (Unearth). Robins made it past four rounds of voting and has its sixth and final issue coming out on April 19th.

Given Robins launched its first issue a few months after voting was complete in October we’ll likely see Superboy: The Man of Tomorrow in the fall as well. It’ll be a six-issue series when all is said and done.

So what’s Superboy: The Man of Tomorrow about?

Conner Kent is back! But this isn’t the DC Universe he knows. With Jonathan, Kara, and Clark protecting the Earth, Conner feels like an outsider more than ever. Living on the Kent farm, he dreams of one day finally finding his place in the universe, and a purpose as Superboy.

Stay tuned to AIPT as we get more info on this upcoming series.
