Marvel Legends: ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ 3-pack revealed

After months of waiting, the highly anticipated Marvel Legends set was revealed to be an absolute ripoff.

On Friday, HasbroPulse uploaded a video officially revealing/announcing the highly anticipated Spider-Man: No Way Home Marvel Legends 3-pack.

The Hasbro Pulse exclusive set features a beautifully updated version of the MCU/Tom Holland Spidey along with Tobey McGuire and Andrew Garfield’s versions of the character. Each figure will also come with two sets of alternate hands.

Unfortunately, that’s where the good news comes to a screeching halt.

None of the three Spider-Men come with alternate heads featuring the actors’ likenesses — and before anyone tries to get pedantic about likeness rights, all actors in the MCU are required to sign those over. Maybe it’s different for Sony-adjacent properties, but I strongly doubt it.

Even if that is the case, the set retails for $89.99. That’s $30 per figure and an even more outrageous price than the $24.99 Hasbro currently charges for other Marvel Legends (which greatly outpaces the inflation rate). For $5 more per figure, Sony can pony up the cash for facial portraits, which is something I’m fairly confident they don’t need to do. I’ll bet we see single releases of all three Spider-Men with alternate heads once Hasbro’s bilked everyone they can via this offering.

Sadly, that will likely happen long before anyone who preorders the No Way Home 3-pack gets their hands on it. The set is scheduled to arrive over a year in August of 2023.

All that being said, if you’d like to support Hasbro in its ongoing search for new and exciting ways to rip off customers, you can preorder the 3-pack here. The set hasn’t sold out yet, so maybe there’s hope that people aren’t being fooled into buying it.
