Popcorn Frights has announced its second wave and the screenings include fan favorites and world premieres. This bolsters the already strong list of screenings that were initially released. Popcorn Frights will be running a hybrid fest this year.
Highlights include the 35th anniversary presentation of the cult favorite Miami Connection with live commentary for closing night. There will also six feature film World Premieres including the made-in-Miami Do Not Disturb, Lucky McKee’s mysterious thriller Old Man starring Stephen Lang, the throwback retro slashers Time’s Up with Felicia Rose and The Barn: Part II with Linnea Quiqley, and the audacious and subversive Bad Girl Boogie with Bill Moseley. Another standout includes a special 25th anniversary under the stars presentation of The Fifth Element in tribute to Bruce Willis.
The Eight Annual Popcorn Frights Film Festival will be taking place in Fort Lauderdale, South Beach and Virtually Nationwide, August 11-21.
