Marvel Comics has revealed interior pages from Neil Gaiman and Mark Buckingham’s much-anticipated return to Miracleman, setting out to finish their story. Miracleman: The Silver Age was announced in June, completing their unfinished story. Their series was cut short mid-storyline almost 30 years ago, but the series will finally wrap up with the first issue out on October 19th. The first two issues will feature bonus content and remastered artwork, and then in December, Miracleman: The Silver Age #3 will feature all-new material by Gaiman and Buckingham, continuing their story.
“On our original run, I struggled a bit with the design of Miraclewoman’s costume, so I looked to do something less angular and more flowing and sensitive,” Buckingham said of one change he brought to the new series. “By the time I circled back to those scenes in 2022, I felt more comfortable working with the original design.”
Marvel also has a special Miracleman #0 one-shot anthology coming out on October 5th.
