Ever since David Silva announced the Cyberzoic Toyline for Creative Beast Studios, fans of dinosaur and dragon toys alike anxiously awaited a first glimpse at the prototypes. At last summer’s San Diego Comic-Con, Silva showed off some unpainted armored dinosaurs that made our wallets quiver with anticipation. He also gave us a look at an unpainted Kuraokami, aka the Arctic Dragon.
That was more than enough to convince folks that Cyberzoic’s dragons wouldn’t be overshadowed by the dinos. This Thursday, however, Silva treated us to our first look at the fully painted Kuraokami prototype and…just wow.
As gorgeous as the paint looks, don’t let that distract you from how wonderful the sculpt is. Even without having the figure in hand, you can tell it has the classic David Silva articulation that makes his figures so much fun to pose.
Assuming you’ve wiped the drool off your keyboard, you can check out more pictures of Kuraokami below. You can also read our interview with David Silva last year where he first publicly revealed his plans for Cyberzoic. If you want to keep up with Cyberzoic’s development, Silva posts concept art every Friday here.
