House of the Dragon has been heating up, as it should since we only have three more episodes left! Out this Sunday, October 9, HBO will air episode 8, which is titled Lord of the Tides. Given the last episode was titled Driftmark, which is an island, we can sense a theme.

So what can we glean from the images HBO has released today? For starters, Aegon Targaryen is now played by an older Tom Glynn-Carney, and Aemond Targaryen is played by the older and quite menacing-looking Ewan Mitchell. We can also see everyone is gathered around the Iron Throne, likely for some big announcement. Also heavily present are Hand of the King Otto Hightower (Rhys Ifans) and Queen Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke). Curious!
