On Tuesday, Hasbro’s Marvel Legends team used their final livestream of 2022 to reveal a boatload of new figures. Let’s take a look at what they showed, which should make X-Men fans very happy.
The following items will be available for preorder on Thursday, December 8 at 1:00 PM.
Gambit, Banshee, & Psylocke 3-pack

We’ve already seen these figures revealed at various points during the last several months, but here they are together. It’s a great-looking set (especially if you’re a ’90s kid), but I shudder to think what the price will be.
Storm, Forge, & Jubilee 3-pack

This set looks to be similarly overpriced, but is also much more tempting.
The Blob

I can’t be the only one who finds that alternate/screaming head scary for all the wrong reasons.
It’s nice that this figure has pinless articulation, but I’m not sure that’s enough to justify the deluxe figure pricing which will no doubt be required to own it.
Rogue

Was never a huge fan of this character, but that is a great-looking figure.
There was no release date, preorder, or pricing set for these next figures, but we should get that information fairly soon.
Cyclops

If Marvel Legends figures weren’t so overpriced now, this would almost certainly be an impulse buy if I saw it in store.
Emma Frost

Not this one, though. I don’t hate the portrait like a lot of other folks seem to, but it’s still not as good as Emma deserves.
Corsair

Not a character I really care about, but a great plastic representation of him for those that do.
Monet St. Croix

This, however, was a character I thought I didn’t care about until seeing the figure. Now I’m on the fence.
Chamber

No idea who this is, but I love it.
Fang

Nice design, but this is still an easy pass.
Kid Omega

Wow…you stop reading X-Men regularly for a decade and miss everything. This is another character I don’t know, but I’m definitely digging the design — especially the weapon/glasses combo.
These next characters will be retrailer exclusives available in Spring 2023.
Gamerverse Spider-Man

I never buy these (even as a huge Spidey fan), but am glad the folks who do will be getting a retooled figure. It will also be a Fan Channel (i.e. toy retailer) exclusive, so it shouldn’t be too hard to get.
Classic Kraven

Unfortunately, this one is a Walmart exclusive, which means your best bet is going to be eBay sometime in May or June.
The panel ended with a teaser image indicating that The Rose and Cho’od will be coming to the Marvel Legends line soon.
