Star Wars: New Black Series and Vintage Collection reveals for Mando Mania

Even more great Hasbro reveals the week after Star Wars Celebration.

If you thought Hasbro was done after the massive slate of reveals from Star Wars Celebration, think again. On Tuesday, StarWars.com celebrated Week 7 of Mando Mania by revealing a pair of sets for both the Vintage Collection and Black Series toylines.

Star Wars: The Vintage Collection Tusken Warrior & Massiff

The timing on this great set is a bit odd. We just had the reveal/preorder for the single-carded Tusken Warrior less than a month ago. Although this set retails for significantly more ($27.99), it also comes with a new and improved Massiff figure, which looks fantastic. It also makes the $27.99 “deluxe” price point feel significantly more justified.

In other words, that single-carded preorder is probably getting canceled.

Unfortunately, the set is also a Target exclusive, so we all know what a horrific experience securing one might be. The Tusken Warrior and Massiff will (allegedly) be available for preorder on April 12 at 1:00 PM EDT with an expected arrival this summer.

Star Wars: The Black Series Cobb Vanth and Cad Bane 2-pack

Once again, this one will be a Target exclusive. This time, however, it might actually be worth picking up — primarily due to the price (!).

Remember how ridiculous the cost was for the previous “deluxe” Cobb Vanth release? This set will retail for $55.99, putting both figures at a more reasonable (but still too high) $28. You don’t get Cobb Vanth in Boba’s armor, but I don’t think many of us want that version, anyway.

Add in a nice-looking Cad Bane from his appearance in The Book of Boba Fett and you’ve got a set that might actually be worth dealing with Target to get. It will (allegedly) go up for preorder on April 12 at 1:00 PM EDT with an expected arrival this summer.
