Marvel signals the return of Rocket Raccoon in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ #4

Rocket Raccoon is back! Where has he been all this time?

Ahead of full solicitations, Marvel Comics has revealed the cover and text for Guardians of the Galaxy #4, out July 19th. The actual text doesn’t say much about what Rocket’s deal is–he wasn’t in the first issue, and nothing much was said about his absence–but given the cover art, it appears he’s going to shoot down his friends.

As we learned in Guardians of the Galaxy #1 last week, Groot is on a rampage, and the Guardians are trying to keep casualties low. Could Groot’s current unhinged predicament be Rocket’s fault?

Check out the full solicitation and cover by Marco Checchetto below. If you want even MORE Guardians advance info, check out the cover and solicit to issue #3 here.
