Today, AIPT can exclusively reveal three creators attached to the upcoming comics anthology Dead Detectives Society from Monstrous Books. Edited by James Aquilone, the project will feature a cover by John Jennings with interior art by Zac Atkinson, J.K. Woodward, and Jennings.
Launching June 6 on Kickstarter, three of the contributors include:
- “Last-Known Photo, A Sonja Blue Story” by Nancy A. Collins.
- “Mr. Cricket” by Joe R. Lansdale and Kasey Lansdale
- “The World Is a Secret” by Lisa Morton
According to editor James Aquilone, “Dead Detectives Society is a group of supernatural investigators. Throughout history and over countless dimensions, its members have taken the strangest and most bizarre cases. They are zombies and ghosts, ghouls and vampires and werewolves. Uncanny and uncategorized P.I.s. And they’ll all be collected in this one-of-a-kind anthology and future anthologies.”
