This week, Hasbro revealed a single release of the MCU Gladiator Hulk, which is an updated version of the Build-A-Figure from 2017.
Missing since the Avengers’ last globe-spanning battle, the Hulk’s whereabouts are finally uncovered when Thor finds his ally in an unlikely locale: a cosmic gladiatorial arena halfway across the galaxy. This quality 6-inch scale Hulk figure features deco and design inspired by his appearance in the film Thor: Ragnarok! Includes figure and 5 entertainment-inspired accessories including an alternate head and gladiator helmet.
Since this is an article I’m writing about a Hasbro collector product, let’s get the complaint about the price out of the way first: Yes, it’s overpriced. Despite being a true deluxe figure, the $39.99 MSRP is far too much.
That being said, it’s a significantly better value than the $38.99 Ronan the Accuser figure that was revealed last year. In addition to the great sculpt and portrait, Gladiator Hulk also comes with two fantastic weapons, an awesome alternate head, alternate hand, and a helmet. The paint could’ve used a better wash, but this is a very nice-looking release otherwise.
Gladiator Hulk is currently available for preorder exclusively from Amazon with an expected arrival this fall. Check out more pictures of the figure below!
