The biggest new video games releasing the week of 6/5/23

Check out what’s new in the world of video games this week.

Spring is the air, and the outside world beckons with warm weather and sunshine. But that’s not going to stop gamers from staying in and checking out some new video games! While The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has drawn most everyone’s attention this year, June still has plenty of exciting new releases to play and fall in love with.

Let’s check out what video games are hitting storefronts this week.

Harmony: The Fall of Reverie (June 8)

Platforms: PC, Switch

Harmony: The Fall of Reverie is a gorgeously animated visual novel from Life Is Strange developer Don’t Nod. You’ll play as Polly, a young woman who discovers she has clairvoyant powers. Those powers take her to a different world where she’s known as Harmony, and it’s there that she holds the fate of humanity of both worlds. There are several branching decisions Harmony will make, and her powers will offer players glimpses into the outcomes and consequences of those decisions. Harmony: The Fall of Reverie launches on Switch and PC this week and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S editions will release later this month on June 22.

MotoGP 23 (6/8)

Platforms: PC, PS4, PS, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S

Hop on the bike of your favorite rider and race to the finish line in MotoGP 23. It includes the 2023 season riders and racetracks for MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3, and MotoE. You can also create your own motorist and work your way up the ranks to become the world champion.

Diablo IV (6/5)

Platforms: PC, PS4, PS, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S

Diablo IV is already off the a great start with plenty of reviewers lavishing it with praise. Create your characters from one of five classes (Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Rogue, and Sorcerer), get your friends together, and prepare to take on the demon Lilith. Diablo IV will feature the loot-focused dungeon crawling the series is known for while adding an open world and PVP combat. Because of the open map, the story can be completed in any order and enemies scale based on your level, meaning you’ll always be offered a challenge. While Diablo IV can be played solo, it does unfortunately always require an internet connection for it to be played.
