An estranged friend showing up at a pre-wedding party with a mysterious suitcase is rarely a good sign. It’s What’s Inside adds a sexy sci-fi twist along with colorful visuals and stylish production to ensure the familiar premise stands out. Sundance has been home to some of the most influential genre films of all time and the filmmaker Greg Jardin looks to add his directorial debut to the list.

Realm of Satan

What to watch at the Sundance Film Festival

A still from REALM OF SATAN by Scott Cummings, an official selection of the NEXT program at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.

Working with members of the Church of Satan, director Scott Cummings looks into the everyday lives of practicing Satanists. Straddling the line between documentary and experimental film, Realm of Satan is as much about individual mindsets as it is the church itself. The Sundance Film Festival takes place from January 18, 2024 – January 28, 2024
