‘Marvel Animation’s X-Men ’97’ trailer is here and it gets nostalgic

Watch the first ever ‘X-Men ’97’ trailer here!

Marvel has released the first official X-Men ’97 trailer, and it’s as nostalgic as heck. That’s because it literally opens with a tube TV turning on the classic animated series as we pan in to be reminded of our youth.

The trailer reminds us Professor Xavier is dead, and now the team is all alone to face villains and bigotry. Wolverine and Cyclops are clearly still at odds, Storm is as badass as ever, and a baby appears on the way. Oh, and the biggest reveal of them all is that Magneto has taken over the school.

Fans of the original cartoon will also delight in seeing Morph on the team. We also see Rogue, Gambit, Bishop, Beast, Jubilee, Wolverine, and Jean Grey present. It’s a killer lineup no this team, y’all.

Marvel Animation’s X-Men ’97, an all-new series, arrives March 20 on Disney+.
