Watch new ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ trailer

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ will release in cinemas on July 26, 2024.

A new Deadpool & Wolverine trailer was released this morning following a teaser back in February. The trailer takes the R rating seriously, from tons of f-bombs to penis jokes. There’s plenty of action, a closer look at Cassandra Nova, and a fantastic music choice of “Like a Prayer” by Madonna.

Fans of the comics will note that a store named Liefeld behind the two heroes in the trailer’s feature image is likely a nod to Rob Liefeld, Deadpool’s co-creator. It’s even a store selling “just feet.” Get the joke?

So what’s Deadpool & Wolverine about?

The unofficial synopsis via Movieweb reads, “After facing some professional setbacks while going through a midlife crisis, Wade Wilson decides to officially retire Deadpool and becomes a used car salesman. But when his friends, family, and the whole world are at stake, Deadpool decides to bring his katanas out of retirement. He recruits an unwilling and wary Wolverine to not only fight for their survival but ultimately, their legacy.”
