The Marvel Fanfare panel yesterday featured Marvel Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski hosting what seemed to be a comics panel. It started with Frank Miller talking about his career, lead to Charles Soule and Steve McNiven revealing Daredevil: Cold Day In Hell #1, but got totally crashed by folks from Daredevil: Born Again.
In attendance were Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, with producer Sana Amanat. New details were shared about the show, including the fact that it will be rated for 17 and up, will feature nine episodes, and the first season launches on March 4th.
D’Onofrio said of Daredevil and Kingpin, “They are on different paths but they way they feel about each other is intense.” Amanat added this is really a story about the identity of these characters and reflecting on themselves. Cox also shared Kingpin and Daredevil need to reconcile and work together.
As far as the tone of the show, D’Onofrio said it was “weird” going out of the darkness in his performance in the Disney+ show Hawkeye, but acting in Echo was more comfortable because it was darker.
Also revealed, Vanessa Fisk will return, and Soule’s co-creation Muse will appear in the show.
