Uniqlo Japan announced its new collaboration with Pokémon. The two major brands will team up and release clothing based on the industry giant’s Trading Card Game and TCG Pocket. The designs for the apparel are available for viewing on Uniqlo’s Japanese online store, featuring clothing for both adults and children. However, the clothing itself won’t be available for purchase until August 2025.
Uniqlo Japan’s X post roughly translates to, “Today’s information release: UT in collaboration with “Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket” has been released! A collection featuring illustrations from Pokémon cards! Stay tuned for more updates.”
Pokémon and Uniqlo have worked together before
While the clothes will drop in Japan in August, it is unclear as to when it will be released in the US or anywhere else. This is not the only time Uniqlo has partnered up with the multibillion-dollar company but it’s the first time it’s the first time it’s basing its designs on the popular trading card game.

Another major collaboration between the two was titled “Pokémon Sketch.” This line included some of the franchise’s most iconic characters. Artsy designs of Pikachu, Psyduck, Umbreon and so much more were featured on shirts for fans of all ages.
