Get ready for chaos, charm, and plenty of dungeon-crawling mishaps—Dungeons & Dragons: The Fallbacks is making its comic book debut this fall. The brand-new four-issue miniseries comes from Dark Horse Comics and Hasbro’s Wizards of the Coast, written by Greg Pak (Stranger Things, Lawful) with pencils by Wilton Santos (Star Wars: Doctor Aphra), inks by Edvan Alves, colors by Raul Angulo (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), and letters by Nate Piekos (Minor Threats, The Rise of Hellfire).
Issue #1 hits shelves on October 15, 2025, with covers by Marguerite Sauvage, Uzuri, Stephen Segovia, and Dan Panosian. Each issue will also include a collectible back cover by Julie Dillon, which forms a stunning connected image inspired by J.C. Leyendecker when assembled.
Based on the characters first introduced in the novel by Jaleigh Johnson, The Fallbacks follows a scrappy crew of unlikely adventurers—Tess the elf rogue, Anson the human fighter, Cazrin the wizard, Lark the loudmouth bard, Baldric the dwarf cleric, and their hungry otyugh pet, Uggie—as they roll into the city of Loudwater looking for fame and fortune. But after a run-in with kobold thieves puts them at odds with a rival adventuring group, their search for treasure may quickly turn into a legendary grudge match.
