This October, DC will publish two oversized Absolute Universe one-shot specials and five pivotal new Absolute Universe issues.

This October marks one year since the launch of DC’s “All In” publishing initiative, and the publisher is celebrating with a major push deeper into its bold new storytelling area: the Absolute Universe.

Fans can expect seven key releases throughout October, including two oversized one-shot specials and five pivotal issues that deliver major developments, big surprises, and a few universe-shaking debuts.

Absolute Evil #1

“Evil has found a home in the Absolute Universe.”

Releasing October 1, Absolute Evil #1 shines a spotlight on the villains of the Absolute Universe. Written by Al Ewing with art by Giuseppe Camuncoli and Stefano Nesi, this issue brings together Ra’s al Ghul, Veronica Cale, Hector Hammond, Elenore Thawne, and a mysterious new Joker—this time not as rivals, but as a united force. However, things quickly unravel from within. The one-shot also introduces two major new characters who will shape the second year of the Absolute Universe.

Absolute Batman 2025 Annual #1

“Early adventures of the Absolute Batman.”

Landing October 29, this annual dives into the early days of the Absolute Batman. Stories from Daniel Warren Johnson, James Harren, and Meredith McClaren explore formative moments in Bruce’s career, including the origin of his Batmobile and early showdowns with Gotham’s underworld.

Covers include work from Johnson, Dragotta, Harren, and McClaren.

Absolute Batman #13 (Oct 8)

“It’s the final showdown between Batman and Bane!”

Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta pit Batman against Bane in a final confrontation with high stakes inside Ark-M. As the dust settles, a new player emerges in Gotham—and Absolute Catwoman makes her debut.

Absolute Wonder Woman #13 (Oct 22)
