Skybound and Image Comics, alongside Hasbro’s Evoke Entertainment Company, have unveiled a first look at Super Creepshow Special #1, a new one-shot hitting comic shops on October 8, 2025. Based on Greg Nicotero’s hit Shudder TV series, this anthology installment adds a terrifying twist to superhero storytelling.
Billed as one of the most important comics of the year, the special invites readers to celebrate superheroes that are bold, bizarre, and deeply unsettling.
An All-Star Lineup of Creators
The issue brings together some of the industry’s top talent for three chilling tales:

Dan Watters (The One Hand and the Six Fingers, Batman: Dark Patterns) and Carmine Di Giandomenico (Absolute Superman) craft a story about the funeral of the world’s greatest hero—and why his return could spell disaster.

Ryan Stegman (X-Men) and Riley Rossmo (The Moon Is Following Us, Harley Quinn) introduce the Grave Ghost, a superhero tasked with solving the mystery of his own death.

Ed Brisson (Wolverine: Old Man Logan) and Andrei Bressan (Dark Ride, The Uncanny X-Men) explore what happens when a “super serum” creates something far more monstrous than heroic.
The anthology is overseen by Brian Witten for Nicotero’s Monster Agency Productions.

And the Creepshow horror doesn’t stop there—Creepshow Volume 4 begins its monthly run on September 17, featuring an impressive lineup including Jeremy Adams, Eduardo Risso, Rosie Knight & Oliver Ono, Gabriel Walta, Ted Raimi, Alex Paknadel, Sina Grace, Ramon Villalobos, and many more.
