Doom is “Gone”… so why is Latveria trying to eat everyone? Marvel unleashes ‘Dungeons of Doom’

Spinning out of ONE WORLD UNDER DOOM, DUNGEONS OF DOOM, a three-issue saga by Phillip Kennedy Johnson, Benjamin Percy, Carlos Magno, Robert Gill, Justin Mason and George Jeanty, launches in January.

Marvel’s next nightmare descends in January with Dungeons of Doom — a three-issue horror-thriller picking up after One World Under Doom as the world’s spooks, supers, and spies break into an “empty” Castle Doom… and trigger a hidden maze designed to chew trespassers alive. It was all revealed at the NYCC Next Big Thing panel.

From writers Phillip Kennedy Johnson (Incredible Hulk) and Benjamin Percy (Red Hulk), with art by Carlos Magno, Robert Gill, Justin Mason, and Georges Jeanty, the series drops rival factions into a booby-trapped undercastle of vaults, vaults, and more vaults—each door guarding tech, secrets, and monsters Doom never left unattended. What began as a global arms grab becomes a claustrophobic survival story as new faces from across the Marvel U learn the hard way: even in absence, Doom plans for everything.

“As horror nuts, we wanted a Marvel anthology that feels like creeping through Doom’s basement,” Johnson teases—expect each corridor to open onto a different, very Doom-flavored terror.
