Get ready for an all-out galactic throwdown: Marvel Cosmic Invasion is coming later this year from Dotemu and Tribute Games, in collaboration with Marvel Games. The upcoming beat ’em up arcade-style adventure will unite heroes from across the Marvel Universe, and to mark the occasion, Marvel Comics is releasing 12 Marvel Cosmic Invasion variant covers arriving throughout January and February.
In the game, players can choose from 15 playable heroes, including Spider-Man, Iron Man, Nova, Wolverine, and Venom. Each variant cover showcases the characters’ official in-game looks, inspired by the retro visual style that shaped Marvel’s classic storytelling era.
The story kicks off when a devastating assault sweeps through the galaxy, forcing Earth’s mightiest and most cosmic heroes to team up against the relentless Annihilation Wave. From the streets of New York to the far reaches of the Negative Zone, Marvel Cosmic Invasion promises an explosive fight for the fate of the universe.
