Spider-Man becomes Spider-Carnage — Marvel’s ‘Death Spiral’ ends with a jaw-dropping twist

Marvel is about to cross a line no one saw coming.

Marvel is about to cross a line no one saw coming.

This April, Amazing Spider-Man #27 brings the shocking finale of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN/VENOM: DEATH SPIRAL—and with it, a transformation that could redefine Peter Parker forever. Titled “Introducing Peter Parker, the Amazing Spider-Carnage,” the issue promises a moment fans won’t stop talking about as Spider-Man does the unthinkable.

The crossover kicks off next month with a deadly new threat: Torment, a serial-killer supervillain targeting Spider-Man, Mary Jane as All-New Venom, and Eddie Brock as Carnage. What begins as a brutal hunt across New York spirals into something far more dangerous—one that pushes Peter to the edge and forces him into a fate no hero should have to face.

Written by Joe Kelly with art by Ed McGuinness, Amazing Spider-Man #27 (LGY #992) lands in comic shops on April 22, closing out Death Spiral with a jaw-dropping twist that signals major changes ahead for Spider-Man, Venom, and Carnage alike.

If you thought you’d seen every version of Peter Parker—think again.
