Skybound reveals new variant covers for ‘Transformers’ #31, launching a bold new Megatron arc

Today, Skybound and Image Comics, in collaboration with Hasbro, officially unveiled the full lineup of variant covers for Transformers #31, the next chapter in the two-time Eisner Award–winning series and a major turning point for the Energon Universe.

Arriving in comic shops April 8, 2026, Transformers #31 kicks off a brand-new story arc with a standalone, unforgettable Megatron-centric tale from the powerhouse creative team of Robert Kirkman, artist Ludo Lullabi, colorist Mike Spicer, and letterer Rus Wooton.
