Now, to mark the 50th anniversary of the original What If? run, Marvel is rolling out eight brand-new WHAT IF…? one-shots this summer. Featuring top-tier creative teams, these stories will remix key moments across the Marvel Universe, starting with bold new takes on the X-Men and Thor and building toward fresh spins on landmark arcs like Secret Wars and Kraven’s Last Hunt.
The celebration begins in June with WHAT IF…? UNCANNY X-MEN #1, as Gerry Duggan and Jan Bazaldua revisit one of the medium’s most heartbreaking romances, alongside WHAT IF…? THOR #1, where Torunn Grønbekk and Sergio Dávila steer symbiote lore in a thunderous new direction.
