Today, Skybound, in partnership with Scott Dunbier’s Act 4 Publishing, revealed a first look at Doctor Strange by Paul Smith Artist’s Edition. The oversized hardcover arrives in comic shops on August 12, 2026.

The 12” x 17”, 192-page collection includes his full runs from Doctor Strange #65, #69, #70, and #72, along with more than 40 additional pages from other issues, cover art, and rarely seen pieces spanning the Marvel Universe. It also features a 10-page Daredevil story from Marvel Fanfare #1, marking Smith’s first published Marvel work.

As with other Artist’s Editions, this release presents the original art in full color scans, even though it appears in black and white at a glance. That means readers can see every detail, from ink textures to blue pencil marks, all reproduced at the same size as the original pages. It is about as close as you can get to holding the original artwork in your hands.
