Marvel Comics is embracing the lighter side of its superhero universe this summer with a new line of Marvel Duck Variant Covers, transforming some of its most iconic heroes into adorable rubber duck versions of themselves.
Arriving just in time for beach season, the three-cover collection features artwork by acclaimed illustrators Betsy Cola, Chrissie Zullo, and Godtail. Each artist puts a playful spin on beloved Marvel characters, reimagining their signature costumes and designs through the unmistakable lens of classic rubber ducks.
The duckified heroes will appear on some of August’s biggest releases, including Captain America #14, Miles Morales: Spider-Man #1, and Spider-Man/Hulk: Fire and Brimstone #1.
The covers lean fully into the absurdity of the concept, preserving each hero’s recognizable look while embracing the charm and humor of bath toy-inspired redesigns. Whether it’s Captain America’s iconic shield, Miles Morales’ sleek Spider-Man costume, or Hulk’s unmistakable presence, each character remains instantly recognizable despite their newfound feathered forms.
