Tradd Moore is stepping into a new chapter of his career.
Ahead of San Diego Comic-Con 2026, Oni Press has announced Touch Me Someplace Nowhere, the first fully creator-owned solo series written, illustrated, and colored by the Eisner Award-nominated cartoonist behind Doctor Strange: Fall Sunrise, Silver Surfer: Black, and The Strange Talent of Luther Strode.
Scheduled to launch in 2027, the series follows Kelly Muir, the estranged heir to a powerful New York crime family, as she spirals through an alternate version of New York City where rival gangs battle for control and wild animals roam the streets. Set against a backdrop of crime, romance, and late-night excess, the story promises a bold mix of emotional drama and explosive action.
Moore described the project in typically vivid fashion.
“This comic stretches a gonzo tightrope between camp genres I love over unresolved feelings that pang; I’m thrilled to dance on it with my tongue out. Romantic, perilous, and aching.”
For Oni Press Editor-in-Chief Sierra Hahn, the book showcases another side of Moore’s already celebrated talents.
“Touch Me Someplace Nowhere conjures visions of Shakespeare by way of Paul Thomas Anderson in what is sure to be a masterful and unforgettable expression of comic book and poetic storytelling. Tradd’s rich cast of characters are steeped in style, conviction, and desire. Readers will fall in love with Kelly and the multifaceted tapestry of her life in this wild adventure.”
Moore first gained widespread recognition with The Strange Talent of Luther Strode, before going on to redefine characters such as Robbie Reyes in All-New Ghost Rider and earning acclaim for visually inventive books like Silver Surfer: Black and Doctor Strange: Fall Sunrise. While he previously wrote and illustrated Doctor Strange: Fall Sunrise, Touch Me Someplace Nowhere marks his first completely creator-owned project as both writer and artist.
Oni Press President and Publisher Hunter Gorinson called the series one of the most ambitious projects the publisher has undertaken.
“Tradd is one of the true creative geniuses working in our medium today, and his phenomenal talents as an artist and storyteller are already well-known to everyone invested in the future of what comics can be. Touch Me Someplace Nowhere is a once-in-a-generation project, and it’s an immense honor for the entire Oni Press team to be entrusted with bringing Tradd’s singular vision to the page.”
Fans attending San Diego Comic-Con will have an early opportunity to celebrate the announcement. Moore will appear as a special guest of Oni Press, participate in his first career retrospective panel, and sign at the Oni booth, where attendees can also pick up a limited-edition Touch Me Someplace Nowhere art print while supplies last.

More details on Touch Me Someplace Nowhere will be revealed ahead of its 2027 debut.
