Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra delayed until next year

The launch of one of Marvel’s most highly anticipated video games, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, has been pushed back. The superhero game was originally scheduled for release sometime this year. Unfortunately, Skydance Games announced today that Rise of Hydra will now arrive in 2026, disappointing many fans.

Marvel 1943’s developer, Skydance Games, explained why the game got delayed in a post on X. “Taking this additional time will allow us to add more polish, and make sure we give you the best possible experience, and one that lives up to our vision.” While the game isn’t coming as soon as fans would like, Skydance promised that there is more information to come in the near future that would please players.

Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is every fan’s dream

Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra was confirmed in 2021. The story takes place during World War II and features Captain America, Nanali, Gabriel Jones and Azzuri. According to Marvel, the game is made for fans both old and new, taking inspiration from many of its past projects. The publisher stated that it will include elements that captivated fans for decades.

Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra will now be arriving in early 2026.
