When we first heard hip-hop artist Kendrick Lamar would be droppin’ bars about Wakanda for the upcoming Black Panther soundtrack, it seemed the perfect mix, given the lyrics and overall aura of his latest album, DAMN.
Waking up this morning to new Kendrick was a good feeling. The song, entitled “All the Stars” features R&B singer/songwriter SZA:
Songs released strictly for album soundtracks tend to differ from artists’ regular efforts for obvious reasons — is “All the Stars” one of them? Or will the song complement the atmosphere of the Black Panther movie to a tee? Sound off in the comments.
