Star Wars: Battlefront II dives into the Clone Wars with Obi-Wan, Anakin, Grievous and more

Begun, the Clone Wars have.

In addition to announcing a brand new game called Star Wars: Jedi: Fallen Order, EA took the opportunity at their E3 press conference to announce updates for their maligned online shooter, Battlefront II.

To coincide with the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story, the game’s season season added the planet of Kessel, as well as Han Solo, Chewie and Lando Calrissian. In addition, EA made the surprising announcement that the game will be taking a deep dive into the Star Wars prequel trilogy with the Clone Wars.

Players will be able to play as legendary Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi for the first time in the game, as well as his unstable padawan Anakin Skywalker and the leader of the droid army General Grievous. Locales will include the planet of Geonosis, the site of a huge battle in the infamous war.

No official release date was announced for these new features, but hopefully they will be available soon.
