Now that we’ve got some distance from Hannakah and Christmas it’s time to reflect on the awesome presents we received and gave in turn. One such present I adored is the Kotobukiya ARTFX Spider-Man statue. I marveled at this statue when it was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con and was lucky enough to get it this Christmas. Right now it’s a tad cheaper on Amazon at $160.
The statue defies gravity and has an impressive New York tower for Spidey to bounce off of. Well, this week Kotobukiya revealed the design of the Spider-Man statue had a certain Symbiote wearing villain in mind too. The Venom ARTFX statue is now up for preorder at BigBadToyStore and it will stand 16.5 inches tall. That’s an inch and a half taller than the Spider-Man statue!
Given the quality of the Spider-Man statue, the slightly steeper price of $229 is probably worth it. Just compare the detail in their buttocks!
The Kotobukiya ARTFX Venom statue is due for release June 2019 right in time for San Diego Comic-Con 2019 shop owners.
