Hot on the heels for the first Black Widow movie trailer, Hasbro started this week off by dropping the official images for its Black Widow movie wave for its Marvel Legends line.
The wave is obviously headlined by the MCU version of Black Widow, who appears to have benefitted from Hasbro’s faceprinting advancements and a cool looking new uniform. We also get Yelena Belova (meh), in addition to comic versions of the Winter Soldier (meh again), Crossbones (interesting), and Spymaster (???).
For me, however, the star of the wave is the MCU Taskmaster, who gives us by far our best look at how he’ll appear on screen. Coming in a close second is the MCU Red Guardian–because how could you not want a costumed superhero version of David Habour on your shelf?
It’s all capped off with a gloriously bulky Crimson Dynamo build-a-figure, which looks great, but dangerously top heavy. Hopefully this doesn’t result in him taking frequent nose dives onto the floor.
