Watch: Trailer for A24’s ‘False Positive’

Trailer below!

False Positive is the latest horror movie that will remind film fans of Rosemary’s Baby. The plot is about a couple played named Lucy (Ilana Glazer) and Adrian (Justin Theroux). The two have been trying without success to have a baby for months. After finding a renowned fertility doctor Dr. Hindle (Pierce Brosnan), Lucy becomes pregnant with a healthy baby girl. As the trailer below shows, things are not as great as they should be. Lucy sets out to discover the truth behind her doctor and her pregnancy.

Based on the trailer, the similarities only seem to be surface level. False Positive seems to be a much bloodier and visceral pregnancy horror story than Roman Polanski’s classic. A24 is known for some of the best films from the genre in recent years including The Witch and Midsommar. The latest release looks like another strong entry on their already impressive resume.

False Positive comes to Hulu June 25
