Welcome to another installment of 31 Days of Halloween! This is our chance to set the mood for the spookiest and scariest month of the year as we focus our attention on horror and Halloween fun. For the month of October we’ll be sharing various pieces of underappreciated scary books, comics, movies, and television to help keep you terrified and entertained all the way up to Halloween.
On Wednesday, NECA continued its “31 Nights of Fright” by revealing yet another figure for its burgeoning Gargoyles toyline. This time it’s Bronx, who’s basically a gargoyle dog (which is all types of awesome).
As you can see in the picture above, Bronx will also be packaged with folded wings, which works as an accessory for the previously announced Goliath figure. Some folks weren’t happy about such a cool item being packaged with another toy, but NECA explained in a recent that tweet that this was by design, stating:
Just so everyone knows the closed wings and other larger bonuses were always part of the plan to be packed in with the smaller figures. Helps keep costs and packaging size the same & offers you maximum value. Expect humans & Lex to follow this plan.
Whatever the case, at least it sounds like we’ll be getting quite a few more Gargoyles figures in the future. As for Bronx, no price or release date has been set, but should be revealed soon. The adorably terrifying little guy will also come with a meat snack, which you can see him guarding in the picture below.
